Grape Variety: Albariño
Producer: Lagar de Costa
Region: Rias Baixas, Galicia, Spain
Wild Scale: 3/5
Vegan friendly wine
Winemaking: Grapes were crushed and left on the skins for 5 days before fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
This Wine: A natural orange wine which is very rare in this part of Spain where conventional winemaking very much runs the show. Less skin contact than the 2018 vintage resulting in a fresher expression with more acidity. Honey and creamy character. If you are looking for a classic Albariño, this is not the one!
