Winemaking: Organic Gewurztraminer grapes were harvested by hand. 10 day whole bunch maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in a combination stainless steel and old oak for 9 months. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural skin contact wine with a medium body. A beautiful expression of one of our favourite grape varieties. Pink grapefruit and orange peel alongside Sichaun spice and dried rose petals. On the wilder side and has a refreshing touch of spritz.

Notes on the Winemaker:

Lambert Spielmann is a natural winemaker in the village of Epfig, Alsace where he farms 3 hectares of vines in remote parcels around the area. He employs biodynamic practices int he vineyard and delicate winemaking techniques in the cellar to create really beautiful and exquisite wines. As the labels on his bottles might suggest, he comes from a music background and used to play in various bands.
