This Wine: Light but intense red wine with incredible fresh fruit character. Lively on the palate with great acidity. Juicy and wild!
Notes on the Winemaker: Laurent Billard was a professional Moto GP rider until his friend died riding on the Isle of Man. The tragedy made him realise life was too short so he decided to take his life in a totally different direction by becoming a winemaker despite no previous experience. He currently purchases all his grapes either from growers in the south or Benoit Roche in Beaujolais and is producing incredibly lively wines with a pronounced fruit character.
