Winemaking: Biodynamic grapes were de-stemmed and fermented with indigenous yeast and bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: A serious red wine with dark fruits, earthiness and spice. A lot more concentration and structure compared to its younger sibling Syrah 2019 . The high intensity and acidity levels ensure this wine will age well for the next few years at least. Best served with heavy food dishes.
Notes on the Winemaker: Jean Delobre makes elegant but powerful wine from the Syrah grape in the Northern Rhône along with indigenous white varietals. The vineyards have been biodynamic since 1997 and they rarely use any sulphur at all.
