Notes on the Winemaker: Partida Creus is the project of Massimo Marchiori and Antonella Gerosa, Italians who were working in Barcelona before moving to the remote village of Bonastre in search of a quieter life surrounded by nature. Here they began producing wine from old, almost extinct Catalan grape varieties such as Sumoll and uncovered ancient winemaking techniques by speaking to old winemakers in the area.
