Winemaking: In 2021 Organic Gamay grapes from vines planted in 1955 were harvested by hand and underwent 14 days whole bunch maceration. Aged in old oak barrels and blended with some wine from 2020. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Natural red wine that is light in body but with depth of flavour. Bright and juicy with red berry fruit flavours. Comes in a litre bottle!
Notes on the Winemaker: Raphaël Beysang & Émélie Hurtubise met whilst working in the Auvergne with Patrick Boujou and Vincent Marie. Now they work together in Beaujolais to produce top notch wines that still have a fun side to them.
