Winemaking: Organic Gamay and Cinsault grapes were sourced from Beaujolais and Gard respectively and fermented with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
This Wine: Natural red wine which is nicely balanced with juicy red fruit flavours from the Gamay and darker fruits from the Cinsault. High acidity and lower alcohol enhance the freshness and there's also a nice hint of pepper in there too.
Notes on the Winemaker: Patricia & Remi Bonneton work in the Ardèche right on the border of the Northern Rhône, close to the famous vineyards of Saint-Joseph. They oversee 2 hectares of vines and also source grapes from friends around France to create some interesting and unique cuvées.
