Winemaking: Müller Thurgau grapes were fermented in stainless steel and "tea bags" filled with riesling grapes were dropped into the tank. Other grapes all had a short maceration. Also some Pinot Gris from 2018 vintage was used. Bottled 16th April, 2021 with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: The Brand Brother's "Jigsaw" wine is back for another vintage! This time with the inclusion of some 2018 Pinto Gris juice which adds freshness despite the age. Alive and vibrant as usual with great acidity and juicy fruit.
Notes on the Winemaker: Daniel and Jonas Brand hail from Pfalz where they took over their family winery in 2014 to concentrate on fully natural wines which are unique, alive and bursting with personality. We visited in 2018 to explore the vineyards and learn the stories that accompany the wines.
