Winemaking: Organic (uncertified) grapes were hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeast before being bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
This Wine: A full-bodied, natural red wine with dark fruit (fresh, cooked and dried) and smooth tannins. The splash of white juice keeps a level of fresh acidity running through the wine. One for Winter.
Notes on the Winemaker: Jordi is situated in Blancafort in the Conca de Barberà of Catalunya where the Mediterranean climate brings plenty of heat to the grapes. His wines benefit from cooler nights which helps retain acidity and freshness. He took over his family's winery in 2000 before converting to fully natural by 2012.
