This Wine: A natural wine, golden in colour with ripe and cooked fruit flavours. A hint of oxidative characteristics but they balance the wine well. Decant if possible. Opens up beautifully after a little while
Notes on the Winemaker: We love Jeff Coutelou's wines so much that we did a whole evening at Highbury Library dedicated to him. He is pretty much a legend of natural wine, not just in France but across Europe where people visit him to learn from his practices.
