Winemaking: Organic grapes were hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tank with indigenous yeast after a 6 day maceration period. Bottled with no fining or filtration and just a small amount of sulphur.
This Wine: A great everyday, easy drinking red from Bergerac. Mainly fresh fruit flavours as there is no use of oak. Medium to full bodied.
Notes on the Winemaker: Vincent Alexis is an eighth generation winemaker in the Bergerac / Monbazillac region south of Bordeaux who makes superb value wines from local varieties.
