This is elegant, mineral driven Chardonnay with a smokey note that reflects the volcanic terroir of the vineyard. A lovely depth of citrus and orchard fruit supports the profound rocky character. Clean and precise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNotes on the Winemaker: \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003ePéter Nagyvárad is a young natural winemaker who farms just two hectares of Chardonnay, Furmint, Welschriesling and Kekfrankos (Blaufrankisch) on the volcanic soils around Lake Balaton. The focus is on reflecting the terroir of this part of Hungary so all vineyard work is organic and intevrention in the cellar is kept to a bare minimum.
