Winemaking: Grapes were hand harvested and fermented on the skins for 12 days with indigenous yeast before a period of old barrel ageing. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
This Wine: Natural skin-contact wine at a bargain price! Citrus, stone fruit and dried herbs combine for a deliciously zippy and more-ish orange wine that is fun and easy drinking.
Notes on the Winemaker: Craig and Carla Hawkins began the Testalonga project in 2008 and are now making some of the most unique wines in South Africa. They work with European grape varieties such as Cinsault and Chenin Blanc along with a range of winemaking techniques. The Baby Bandito range offers amazing value for wines without additions.
