Winemaking: Organic were hand harvested and pressed as whole bunches before fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
This Wine: A delicious blend of red and white juice with Grolleau providing some structured red fruit and Chenin bringing zingly citrus and orchard fruit. Vin de soif that should be served chilled!
Notes on the Winemaker: Philippe Delmee is situated in Anjou where he works with the famous varieties of the region, Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc as well as some Grolleau and Pineau D'Aunis. He manages to find a balance between making more serious wines alongside gluggable, bistro style bottles.
