Winemaking: Organic Melon grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in concrete vats. Aged here for 6 months. No fining or filtration. Small amount of sulphur on bottling. 

This Wine: Easy drinking white wine in the nouveau style which brings crunchy orchard and citrus fruit aromas alongside some white floral notes. A slight spritz might remind you of Vihno Verde. A crowd pleaser of a session wine but also great with oysters and other shellfish.

Notes on the Winemaker: Jo Landron is a legend in the Muscadet region of the Loire valley. His family started producing wine just after World War 2 and stopped using synthetic chemicals in the vineyard by the end of the 1990s. He has helped bring new credibility to the Muscadet appellation and continues to showcase the great potential of the Melon de Bourgogne grape variety.
