This Wine: Natural red wine that is part of the Brutal wine project that Remi Poujol helped set up. Wine under this label indicates that this is more of an experimental cuvée which is usually on the wilder side. This particular wine is all about black fruit with a zing of acidity and textured crunch on the palate.
Notes on the Winemaker: Remi Poujol has farmed this land in the Languedoc organically for over 20 years now so you know his wines come from very healthy vines. He only used horses in the vineyard so the soil doesn't get too compressed and uses no additions whatsoever in the winery. He sells high quality grapes to some of the most famous winemakers in France but also produces top-notch natural wine for very reasonable prices.
