Vegan friendly wine
Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Half were de-stemmed whilst the other half underwent carbonic maceration. All fermentation with indigenous yeast in fibreglass tanks. Rested in these tanks for 8 months. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Wild red wine with electric acidity. Light in body with flavours of fresh red fruit and smokey minerals. Best drunk just below room temperature. Lucifer brings the light!
Notes on the Winemaker: Marco Turco is a young winemaker in Breganze, Veneto. This area is famous for a sweet wine made from the Vespaiola grape but Marco is moving things in a different direction with his skin contact and dry "Vespasi" wine. We are excited to see what he does next.
