Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Producer: Anna, Andre & Yann Durrmann
Region: Andlau, Alsace, France
Wild Scale: 5/5
Vegan friendly wine
Winemaking: Organic Pinot Noir grapes were harvested by hand. Whole bunch maceration and fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeast. Aged on the lees and bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Everyone's favourite pink juice is back but unfortunately in tiny quantities! Hazy with fresh and candied red berries and a touch of spice. It never misses!
Notes on the Winemaker: The Durrmann family make wine the village of Andlau on the slopes of Vosges mountains in Alsace. The vineyards have been organic since 1998 and sulphur free cuvees have been produced since 2007 after Yann (the son) took over running the winery.
