Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Pinot Noir grapes were harvested by hand and de-stemmed. Macerated for 4 weeks and fermented with indigenous yeast in stainless steel. Aged in tank. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with soft tannins and medium body. A hint of spice balances the fruity nature of the wine where blackberry and red berries are the stars of the show. 

Notes on the Winemaker: The Durrmann family make wine in the village of Andlau on the slopes of Vosges mountains in Alsace. The vineyards have been organic since 1998 and sulphur free cuvees have been produced since 2007 after Yann (the son) took over running the winery.
