Certified Organic
Wild Scale: 4/5
Vegan friendly wine
Winemaking: Organic Riesling grapes were harvested by hand and de-stemmed. Macerated for 3 weeks before being pressed into stainless steel. Fermentation with indigenous yeast. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Yann's famous skin contact wine is back and has quite a different character that previous vintages with a slight twist on the name to reflect the fact these grapes now come from more than one vineyard. Light and spritzy with delicate apricot and peach flavours. Easy drinking and suits a sunny day with friends perfectly.
Notes on the Winemaker: The Durrmann family make wine the village of Andlau on the slopes of Vosges mountains in Alsace. The vineyards have been organic since 1998 and sulphur free cuvees have been produced since 2007 after Yann (the son) took over running the winery.
