Grape Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Producer: Christophe Neumeister
Region: Styria, Austria
Wild Scale: 1/5
Vegan friendly wine
Winemaking: Organic Sauvignon Blanc grapes were hand harvested fermented with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. Bottled with no fining or filtration and just a small amount of sulphur.
This Wine: Arguably Sauvignon Blanc has built a bad name for itself but we are firm believers that there is room for every grape variety when made well. In this cool climate, you get all the pleasant characteristics and none of the overly tropical vibes that can sometimes feel a bit unbalanced. This is refined and pairs well with light food dishes.
Notes on the Winemaker: Christophe Neumeister cultivates 24 hectares of organic Sauvignon Blanc grapes on the steep slopes of Straden in the Austrian region of Styria. He is known for producing the highest quality fruit which result in clean and precise wines.
