Winemaking: Organic Vespaiola grapes from plots with high elevation were harvested by hand. Partial direct press and partial skin maceration for 5 days. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in fibreglass and aged in these tanks for 8 months. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Natural orange wine that is light and delicate with herbal and tea-like notes alongside some restrained stone fruit flavours. Classy and would shine alongside lighter food dishes.
Notes on the Winemaker: Il Ceo means "The Kid" in the local dialect of Davide Andreatta. His mission is to recover and restore old vineyards in and around his local town of Breganze which is just north of Vincenza in Veneto.
