Winemaking: Biodynamic Viognier and Rousanne grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: A natural white wine with great concentration of peach and apricot flavours, a mineral backbone and a pleasantly full body. Great by itself or paired with a fish, chicken or vegetable dish.
Notes on the Winemaker: Jean Delobre makes elegant but powerful wine from the Syrah grape in the Northern Rhône along with indigenous white varietals. The vineyards have been biodynamic since 1997 and they rarely use any sulphur at all.
