Bargain Bottles
We recently received some discounted gems and we are passing that on to you! Great wines at great prices, some now with the benefit of a few years in bottle.

Here's a breakdown...
First up, a brilliant Muscadet for just £20! More characterful and complex than your average white wine from this region, this displays a beautiful pureness of fruit alongside mineral characteristics. Best enjoyed with shellfish.
Another steal at £20, this blend of Muller Thurgau, Bacchus, Silvaner and Scheurebe from Bavarian winemaker Andi Weigand is perfect for everyday drinking. Nicely textured with stone fruit and elderflower aromas.
This is a Sparkling orange wine, again from Andi Weigand, with plenty of haze and funk. Made from the aforementioned Scheurebe grape variety, this is the perfect Pet Nat for those that love the wilder side of natural wine.
From Chilean winemaker Roberto Henriquez comes this skin contact Semillon cuvée that was previously featured in Decanter magazines "Top 10 Orange wines in the World". Now with plenty of time in bottle, this is showing so much complexity with savoury and spicy notes alongside developed stone fruit. A rare chance to drink a wine like this, especially at this price.
Another skin contact wine, this time from one of our favourite producers, Chateau Barouillet. Made from Ondenc, Chenin Blanc and Muscadelle grapes down in Bergerac, this has also developed nicely in bottle and now showcases some savoury and mineral elements alongside honeysuckle and dried herbs.
Next to the South of France for a classically meaty and structured red wine from Pèira Levada in the Languedoc. A few years in bottle has softened the tannins perfectly and has helped developed some darker, savoury flavours. Best served with a hearty meal.
Last but certainly not least, a deliciously wild rosé from Clos Kixhaya in the Loire. Made from Cabernet Franc grapes in Chinon, this shows electric fruit with just the right amount of volatile acidity. Could be my pick of the bunch and I'm obviously not the only one as we have already nearly sold out.
