Bidon Bidon is back!

Last September I was lucky enough to visit Giovanni Bottazzi and Simone Fanton amongst their vines. These are the folks behind Fora in Vignia who create playful, drinkable natural wines in North East Italy.

Their joyful, lightly sparkling rosé from the limestone hills of Colli Berici in Veneto, Bidon! Bidon! is back! Made from Tai Rosso (red) and Garganega (white) grapes, this pet nat undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is bottled unfined and unfiltered. The result is a vibrant, cloudy frizzante bursting with wild strawberry, red berry and pink grapefruit notes, lifted by delicate bubbles and a refreshing mineral edge. Bright, energetic and effortlessly drinkable, it is a wine made for sunny afternoons, aperitivo hour and sharing with friends.
