Feast of Riesling - New Arrivals from Yann Durrmann

We are excited to receive the 2023 Rieslings from one of our favourite wineries, Domaine Durrmann. Winemaker Yann is somewhat of a soil geek and he loves to showcase how Riesling expresses across the wide array of terroir that his home region of Alsace has to offer. Since 2018 we have been treated to his Schiste, Granit and Gres (Sandstsone) cuvées and now, for the first time in the UK, we get to experience his Calcaire (limestone) expression. If sitting down with your friends to identify the differences that each soil type gives to the wine doesn't sound fun to you, I don't know what to say.

We also have a good restock of some other favourites from Yann such as Zegwur 2023, Pinot Blanc 2023, Grizzling 2023, Gaz de Schiste 2023 , Mu Ska T 2023 and Rouge de Pinot Noir 2023 . These wines are perfect for Spring drinking so it appears they have arrived just in time
