Gazzetta Arrivals
We are pleased to welcome back some wines to our shelves from Trish Nelson aka Gazzetta!

For those not yet au fait with the Australian-born winemaker, she spent years honing her craft alongside legendary natural wine icons like Cantina Giardino and Le Coste before putting down roots in northern Lazio. Situated near the volcanic shores of Lake Bolsena around Latera, she has been producing vibrant cuvées at affordable prices.
Farming small, high-altitude plots of native varieties including Procanico, Malvasia, Ansonica, and Sangiovese, Trish works organically without synthetic inputs. In her rustic cellar, winemaking is strictly additive-free: spontaneous wild-yeast fermentation, skin-contact macerations for her whites, and no use of sulphur, fining, or filtration.
The resulting wines are joyful, energetic, and endlessly drinkable, brimming with volcanic minerality, salty freshness, and bright, pure fruit. We have the following two wines now in stock;
Bianco Gazzetta 2025
An organic blend of Procanico, Malvasia and Ansonica grapes from volcanic soils, given a brief 3 days of skin contact in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in tank. A texturised wine sitting between white and orange styles, offering lemon, white peach, melon fruit, delicate floral notes, and refreshing minerals. A great aperitif!
Bianco Vignarolo 2025
Organic Procanico from volcanic soils in Lazio, given 7 days of skin contact in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in tank. A medium-bodied, textured orange wine balancing bright citrus and melon notes with a dark, savoury, smoky edge. Much more of a gastronomic wine with depth and complexity.
Happy drinking!
