New and Old from Clos du Tue-Boeuf
Two new arrivals have landed from the Puzelat family in the Loire...

First up,
La Guerrerie 2021 has been released from the Clos du-Tue Boeuf cellar and is a great bottle to see how well the wines age. A co-ferment of Côt (Malbec) and Gamay with dark cherry, spice and earthiness on the palate.

Next, Frileuse 2023. Famous for switching up their cuvées each year, we are now treated to a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Menu Pineau, Fié Gris and Chardonnay. The result is a beautifully complex bottle, with a mineral focus and tropical fruit aromas. We are serving this by the glass later this week in the bar, so pop in see what makes these wines so special.

You can still experience the Frileuse 2022 vintage which was a completely different wine made from 100% Romorantin grapes. Offering deeper complexity and with extra time in bottle, this will now be tasting superb! Made from another rare Loire variety Menu Pineau, Brin de Chèvre 2022 is another sublime and age-worthy cuvée that we have been holding in the cellar along with one last bottle of Pineau d'Aunis 2022. We really are spoiling the Clos du Tue-Boeuf geeks out there!
Finally we have Vin Blanc 2024 and Vin Rouge 2023 in stock which are the product of the Puzelat's negotiant business. Grapes are sourced from nearby organic producers in order to create easy-going wines for everyday drinking. Something for everyone!
Happy drinking
