One Last Walk in the Oolong Rain
Back in November 2023 our good friends Sam and Van (aka Leisure Wine) released a skin contact cuvée made from the rare grape variety Muscaris with fruit harvested in Herefordshire. We Walked Out In Oolong Rain Far Beyond the City Lights 2022 became a huge hit at Highbury Library as we poured by the glass for many weeks.
Earlier this year at the warehouse where the Leisure guys were storing their last few cases, the wine police seized all remaining bottles because the label did not state "Wine of England". A heinous crime, I think we can all agree. After serving its sentence and reforming into a wine that clearly announces its country of origin, Oolong Rain is free again! We just received the very last remaining bottles and are now excited that for one last time, we can walk far beyond those city lights.
