Spice of Life - Discover the wines of Anaïs Fanti

We have just received two new wines from Anaïs Fanti in Alsace. She farms just 1.5 hectares of vines around her home village of Ammerschwihr  and whilst she also grows Auxerrois and Pinot Noir, it's her macerated Gewurztraminer cuvées that really struck us.

Habibi Cheri 2023 sees two days of skin contact which which results in a fruit-forward expression which subtle spice and floral elements. Think orange zest, pink grapefruit and lychee

True lovers of the unique grape variety will be really into Costa Rawa 2023. The focus here is much more on spice thanks to the two week maceration period. Sichuan pepper and dried flowers with some aromatic tropical fruits. We drank a bottle yesterday as an aperitif at at a BBQ and it was perfect.
