Wine Club 024 Winners

Last week we hosted the June Wine Club nights and once again, each evening produced two different winners...

On the first night, a new arrival from Slovakian based winemaker Bott Frigyes took top spot in the vote. Just Enjoy 2023 is an orange blend of Gewurztraminer and Welschriesling that displays restrained and classy aromatics with a touch of tropical fruit and delicate spice. 

The next night saw Jean Pierre Rietsch's Stein 2022 run out as the winner. This single plot Riesling has developed so much in the 9 months since it arrived in the UK. Now showing great concentration of minerals and citrus fruit, you can sense it will keep getting better for some time. We also have received the new vintage of this cuvée and have a 2019 still in the cellar at time of writing. You can read more about Rietsch wines here.
