Vegan Friendly Wine

Winemaking: Organic Carignan grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with wild yeast and aged in old barrels. Unfiltered and bottles with zero sulphur.

This Wine: A pleasantly light red for a wine made from the powerhouse that is the Carignan grape. Deep red cherry and cranberry flavours are met with some aromatic and perfumed notes. There is even some earthiness and spice too. Delicately complex.

Notes on the Winemaker: Craig and Carla Hawkins began the Testalonga project in 2008 and are now making some of the most unique wines in South Africa. They work with European grape varieties such as Cinsault and Chenin Blanc along with a range of winemaking techniques. The Baby Bandito range offers amazing value for wines without additions.
