Winemaking: Organic Chardonnay grapes grown near Arbois were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in old barrels that were topped up (ouille winemaking - not oxidative). Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural white wine with a fresh, mineral character. Citrus flavours with a hint of something herbal. Pure, clean and precise.

Notes on the Winemaker: Les Granges Paquenesses is the project of Loreline Laborde who runs her own farm and winemaking set up close to Arbois and Pupillin. She uses a horse for ploughing and is currently in the process of biodynamic conversion.
