Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand and macerated before fermentation with indigenous yeast. The wine was bottled before this process was finished in order to trap fizz inside the bottle (Ancestral winemaking technique - Pet Nat). No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Sparkling pink Pet Nat with a great balance of fruity and savoury elements. Herbal and floral notes provide layers of complexity. Super fresh, this is a great bottle to either start or finish a dinner party with.

Notes on the Winemaker: Alanna Lagamba is a young winemaker in Rheinhessen who is one half of the Marto project but is also producing Pet Nats under her own Vin de Lagamba labels. Originally from Canada, she worked in a natural wine bar in Berlin before moving to this part of Germany. She is a strong and energetic individual who brings these same qualities to her wines.
