Vegan friendly wine 

Winemaking: Organic white grapes from old bush vines were harvested by hand. 70% de-stemmed, 15% kept in whole bunches and 15% foot stomped. 11 days on the skins and fermented with indigenous yeast. Aged in stainless steel and bottled by gravity with no fining, filtration or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Natural orange wine with a refreshing character. Easy drinking with juicy, tropical flavours of mandarin and pineapple. Only 3000 bottles made. Sadly the wine doesn't hold up for a long time once opened so not one to save for the next day.

Notes on the Winemaker: Oskar Maurer produces fun and approachable wines made from local grape varieties that you have probably never heard of. They are also amazingly well priced which is always nice. His vineyards are close to the river Danube, not far from the border with Croatia.
