Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Chardonnay grapes were hand harvested and fermented in old oak barrels with indigenous yeast. Aged here for 12 months where the barrels were topped up. Bottled with no fining or filtration and just a touch of sulphur. 

This Wine: Natural white wine from a very sought after producer. Made in a non-oxidative style this is full of energetic acidity with a mineral, lemon and green apple flavour profile. Has been ageing in our cellar for a couple of years and now so will be drinking wonderfully. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Etienne Thebaud has been making natural wine in the small village of Cramans since 2007. He works with old vines of native grape varieties to produce some of the most in demand wines from this famous part of France.
