Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Moscatel grapes were harvested by hand. The grapes were crushed and the juice was left on the skins before fermentation with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Fruity and floral skin-contact wine at a great price! The maceration rounds off some of the Muscat's character but this is still full of stone and tropical fruit flavours. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Josh is from Germany and Josie the UK. They met in the Marina Alta region of Valencia after Josie's family moved when she was young and John had a family home there. He completed his winemaking studies in Germany and South Africa before the couple acquired old bush vines in this region which are planted amongst citrus and olive trees. They farm Moscatel at lower plots and red varieties in areas of higher elevation and create hugely characterful wines full of Mediterranean and mountain influences.
