Winemaking: Organic Gamay grapes were hand harvested and de-stemmed. Slow, gentle extraction. Fermentation with wild yeast. Unfiltered and bottled with zero added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a medium and elegant body. An example of how Gamay can shine in this part of France when grown on granitic soils. Brilliantly concentrated dark cherry fruit with some earthy undertones is backed up with bright acidity to create a wine of balance and concentration. Works with or without food.

Notes on the Winemaker: Natural winemaker Rémi Sédès is a Gamay specialist near Nantes in the Loire valley where he moved to from his home in the Jura. He makes wines with character and elegance
