This Wine: Natural red wine from the south of France utilising the almost forgotten grape variety, Aramon. The easiest drinking cuvée from Mont de Marie, this is perfect from the fridge in the warmer months. Light on its feet with fresh and crunchy red fruit. A hint of cooling herbs on the finish. Great for everyday drinking.
Notes on the Winemaker: Thierry Forestier and his wife Marie-Noëlle are located in the village of Souvignargues not too far from Nimes in the Languedoc. They have been making wine since 2004 and focus on amazing value reds that are light and fresh despite the warm climate down here. The inspiration for this style was after meeting Eric Pfifferling of Domaine L'Anglore.
