Winemaking: Organic Parellada grapes were harvested by hand. 15 day semi-carbonic maceration technique and fermentation with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.
This Wine: Natural skin contact wine on the light and easy going side. Restrained aromatics with a peach-skin like texture and flavour profile. Balanced acidity and low in alcohol making it the perfect bottle to share with friends over lunch. Great value.
Notes on the Winemaker: Larural is the project of two brothers, Xavi and Andreu in the Tarragona province of Catalonia. The took over their relatively large family estate of 32 hectares and everything has been farmed organically since 2015. They sell some grapes to local winemakers and produce their own cuvées using native grape varieties and without the addition of sulphur. Honest and expressive wines that offer great value for money.
