Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Whole bunch fermentation with indigenous yeast. Pressed into a combination of stainless steel tanks where the wine ages for for 8 months. No fining, filtration or added sulphur. 12000 bottles produced

This Wine: A litre of natural white wine at an absolute steal of a price. Bright and characterful wine with citrus and stone fruit aromas. Subtle texture from a short period of skin contact. Easy going but by no means boring. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Edgar Brutler produces natural wine in the Cristana region of Transylvania, Romania. He works with both international and indigenous grape varieties in his old cellar and honours the traditions of his family that have made wine in this part of Europe since they immigrated from Germany in the mid19th Century.
