Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Biodynamic Carignan Blanc grapes from a single plot of vines 350m above sea level were hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeast. 1 month of skin contact. Aged for 5 months in amphora vessels. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.  

This Wine: Natural orange wine full of precision and finesse. Delicate citrus and stone fruit flavours, soft spices and a pure mineral character. The skin contact has also provided soft and delicate texture. Best served with a light food dish.

Notes on the Winemaker: Ferran Lacruz is a young winemaker in his home region of Penedès, Catalonia who wants to honour the winemaking history and potential future of this region that fell victim to industrialised winemaking in the 1980s. He uses biodynamic practices in the vineyards and never adds anything in the cellar.
