Partida Creus
Partida Creus is the project of Massimo Marchiori and Antonella Gerosa, Italians who were working in Barcelona before moving to the remote village of Bonastre in search of a quieter life surrounded by nature. Here they began producing wine from old, almost extinct Catalan grape varieties such as Sumoll and uncovered ancient winemaking techniques by speaking to old winemakers in the area. The wines caused quite a stir when they first came to the UK around 2016 and the hype took over a bit. But that should take nothing away from the amazing quality on display and the constant improvements with each vintage. One of our favourite producers for sure.
