This Wine: Natural white wine with a medium body. This is a special cuvée made from the rare local grape variety, Menu Pineau and only produced in magnum format. Brilliant concentration of citrus and spice with electric acidity running throughout. Great with seafood or white meat dishes.
Notes on the Winemaker: Arthur Peltier and Achille Ravineau are young winemakers situated close to Cheverny in Touraine. This is a natural wine hot spot in the Loire that was put on the map by the likes of Thierry Puzelat / Clos du Tue-Boeuf and Hervé Villemade, both of which provided training and guidance to Arthur and Achille. Now they are making affordable, expressive wines with a focus on local grape varieties including the rare Menu Pineau. One to watch!
