Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Chenin Blanc grapes were hand harvested and underwent direct press into foudre for fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in old barrels for 12 months. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.  

This Wine: Rich and round white wine with flavours of green apple and citrus. A strong mineral backbone adds complexity and makes this a great food wine to paid alongside chicken or fish. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Philippe Delmee is situated in Anjou where he works with the famous varieties of the region, Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc as well as some Grolleau and Pineau D'Aunis. He manages to find a balance between making more serious wines alongside gluggable, bistro style bottles.
