Winemaking: Organic Chardonnay grapes  grown on limestone soils were hand harvested by underwent direct press. Aged in old barrels for 9 months. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural white wine from Alice's young Chardonnay vines in Arbois. The focus here is minerality along with lemon fruit. Energetic with a clean and saline finish.

Notes on the Winemaker:  Alice Bouvot has developed a big cult following since starting her domaine in 2004. She produces many cuvées, some with grapes purchased from organic growers (these bottles have the striking gnome labels) and the rest from her own vines. Her wines are unique and invigorating to say the least and should be experienced by any natural wine fan.
