Vegan friendly wine 

Winemaking: Organic Pinot Noir grapes were harvested by hand. 90% de-stemmed and then fermented with indigenous yeast. Aged for 18 months in old oak. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Zero sulphur red Burgundy which is all about great acidity, complex red fruit and no flavours of oak. A classy wine that is pure and precise. Best served with food. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Domaine Derain began in 1988 when Dominique & Catherine Derain purchased vines in the Burgundian town of Saint-Aubain. Everything has been farmed according to organic and biodynamic principles ever since. The sublime cuvées are the perfect examples of natural Burgundy wines. The winery is now run by Julien Altaber & Carole Schwab who previously worked under the Derains.
