The Brand Brothers

Daniel and Jonas Brand hail from Bockenheim in the Pfalz region of Germany where they took over their family winery in 2014 to concentrate on producing natural wines. They showcase their ability to create very complex and high end wines made from Riesling alongside more simple and fun bottles such as their famous Wilder Satz field blend. All their cuvées are unique, alive and bursting with personality. Most of the wines feature a label with a sketch from the duo's grandmother which is a nice touch. We visited in 2018 to explore the vineyards and gain an understanding for this German winemaking region.
