Winemaking: Organic riesling grapes were harvested by hand.  Fermented in old oak barrels with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine:  As the name suggests, this is a beautifully pure expression of the Riesling grape. White wine with amazing balance of fruit, intensity and acidity. Hazy and textured but still precise and clean. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Daniel and Jonas Brand hail from Pfalz where they took over their family winery in 2014 to concentrate on fully natural wines (with the exception being Riesling Vom Berg which is more conventional). Their wines are unique, alive and bursting with personality. We visited in 2018 to explore the vineyards and learn the stories that accompany the wines.
