Notes on the Winemaker: Jean-Christophe Garnier worked as a sommelier in Brittany before being drawn to becoming a winemaker himself in the Loire valley where he studied. After acquiring old vines of Chenin Blanc and other native grape varieties in 2002 he began producing cuvées that were championed in the natural wine world and beyond which helped put the region of Anjou firmly on the map.
